The lab is equipped with all the materials required for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a general Science.
The students are very much encouraged to take part in various international and national level science competitions.Academic excellence and the various activities have been possible due to the dedicated and active participation of the faculty and students as well.
The department undertakes several educational activities to promote scientific interest, appreciation and understanding among the students. Educational trips, Science exhibitions cultivate scientific attitude and students are exposed to complex concepts and principles. |

Communicative approach is followed in the teaching of English and classes are lively and interesting with maximum participation and involvement of the students. The teachers make the teaching of English more effective by using various innovative methods such as Power Point presentations, Role Play, Radio Shows, Class Debates, Live Reporting, Class Quizzes and Spelling Bee.
The impact of globalization has significantly altered the education scenario. In the teaching learning environment learning the good English has become the most strategic way for creating and maintaining a climate in which the young minds can develop and learn to contribute confidently and effectively. So to cultivate competition and reap success, greater emphasis is placed on the learner, to acquire knowledge and skills to enable him\her to keep pace with the time. The events for the improvement of English language is conducted annually and the various Inter House competitions like debate, elocution, poem recitation, essay writing, story writing, spelling contest etc. encourage and maintain a competitive advantage as well as creative outburst. The main objective is to develop oral language skills, pronunciation, diction, clarity etc. Debates and drama competition are also run by this department. In addition to these , Creative Writing and Spelling Bee competitions are also held for Class V to VIII.

Art education teaches students the universal language of self-expression and how to interpret and communicate through forms and colours. Students from Grade I to X enjoy doing drawing, painting and craft work. The syllabus is so designed that through geometrical and mechanical drawings they develop their aesthetic sense.
The faculty where slender fingers, with pencils and brushes can be seen devotedly sketching colourful masterpieces. Creativity teems with life here, providing extreme satisfaction to the creator. Once a week Primary section gets an art class, where they are introduced to the world of colours - pencil, pastel, water, collage etc. The Secondary students twice a week get to express and develop their creativity. They sketch and learn the use of water colour, poster, glass paint, oil paint etc.
The school is indebted to this faculty for providing the school auditorium and the school walls with the masterpieces of budding artists of the school. The Millennium Art Exhibition held at Nepal Art Gallery, by the faculty with display of art works made by the students of the school is one of the greatest achievement of the faculty |

The students of classes IX and X are given the option to choose between Hindustani sangeet and Karnataka sangeet. The students are introduced to the two systems of Indian classical music and are taught the basic “raags” and “taals”. Apart from this the students are taught various group songs, prayers and the school anthem. The students learning music form the choir of the school. There is an Annual Music Talent competition for the students of the school |

The Dance faculty of the school teaches two basic dance forms: Classical dance and Nepali dance. The young talents are pruned, watered and polished by the faculty in such a manner that the inborn ability of the students are honed and harnessed.
Kathak, Bharatnatyam and Manjushree dance are taught besides Nepali folk and ethnic dances. These days the students are very interested in the ethnic dances. The students perform impromptu whenever there is a need for it. The regular, twice a week dance classes keep the students well on their heels. The students of the Dance Club perform on every occasion in the school. The students have performed outside the school on several occasions and won accolades |

The library is a major resource for the teaching learning procedure. Students cannot acquire cent percent knowledge only through text books or classroom lectures. The library is of great help in the fulfillment of their aim because it provides ample opportunities for acquiring knowledge. The library is itself a complete instructor for students. A library is a complete collection of books, journals, audio visuals and other written sliterature preserved for consultation, discussion and reference. The libraries have a wide range of books to meet the demands of every age group children.
School has two libraries that are designed to encourage students to develop an interest in a variety of subjects. Every student can borrow books of their interest from the library. A book is usually issued to each student for a period of one week.
